Mercury found in High-Fructose Corn Syrup

This is a TRAGEDY! According to the Washington Post, “Almost half of tested samples of commercial high-fructose corn syrup (HFCS) contained mercury…” HCFS was also found in nearly a third of 55 popular brand-name food and beverage products where HFCS is the first- or second-highest labeled ingredient.

New scientific study showed that Splenda reduced the amount of good bacteria in the intestines of rats by 50%;  increased its pH level, contributed to increases in body weight and affected P-glycoprotein (P-gp) levels (which can result in medications being shunted back into the intestines, rather than being absorbed by the body).
